“Gilbert Salinas stepped in at the very last hour (2 am) to pick up a load that was scheduled for a strict appt time of 8 am that same morning after my driver had fallen off at the last minute. He was eager and more than happy to help, cooperative and provided me with all of his carrier information really quickly. The customer did push back the appointment for 9 am to accommodate the change, but most importantly Gilbert made it to the appointment on time and actually arrived earlier than 9 am.
Gilbert is very personable, dependable and knowledgeable about this industry. He also has a way with people, as he made fast friends with the customer and was even invited in for sodas and snacks with the owner/shipper. He diffused the situation where the customer was frustrated and upset initially about the later appointment time and really saved me on recovering this load at the very last hour.
