The Sr. Account Executive is primarily responsible for the generation of new business for Summit Logistics Group through outbound prospecting, lead qualification and closing deals. In this role, you will:
- Responsible for generating new business to contribute to the ongoing growth at Summit Logistics Group
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with a variety of clients; partner with clients to understand their business, their products, and their transportation needs.
- Advise and mentor other Account Executives in sales tactics and progress.
- Evaluate and respond to RFP’s/RFQ’s as needed.
- Accurately enter and maintain up-to-date information on Summit Logistics Group’s TMS and CRM platforms.
- Assist fellow Account Executive’s in building relationships, and monitoring sales activity.
- Research, analyze, negotiate and agree fixed-rate contracts as appropriate for Summit Logistics Group’s business.
